Kevin Spacey got a quick victory in court yesterday, when a civil jury took a little over an hour to decide he did NOT sexually assault fellow actor Anthony Rapp when he was underage in 1986.
Rapp was seeking $40 million in damages.
Spacey didn’t speak to reporters after the verdict, but his attorney said, “We’re very grateful to the jury for seeing through these false allegations. What’s next is Mr. Spacey is going to be proven that he’s innocent of anything he’s been accused of. That there was no truth to any of the allegations.”
Spacey still has more court battles to fight, including a criminal case in London, where he’s accused of sexually assaulting three men while he was the artistic director of a theater.
