A coming-of-age story that tackles racism from the perspective of a young Jewish boy in the early ’80s. He gets caught smoking weed with his African American best friend, then his parents send him to a white private school to split them up.
Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong are the kid’s parents, and Anthony Hopkins is his grandfather, who survived the Holocaust and is trying to teach his grandson to fight the prejudice and stand up for his friend.
Sadie Sink plays a teenager trying to overcome her feelings of grief and guilt from her little sister Zoe in a hit-and-run accident by writing a letter to her as a coping mechanism.
Theo Rossi from “Sons of Anarchy” plays her dad, and you’d know Sadie as Max on “Stranger Things”.
3. “The Estate” (R) Trailer (Limited)
A comedy starring Toni Collette and Anna Faris as sisters trying to kiss up to their irritable, terminally-ill aunt in hopes of inheriting her estate after she dies. She’s played by a nearly unrecognizable Kathleen Turner.
But first they’ll have to outsmart their greedy cousins, David Duchovny, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Ron Livingston, who are also scheming to get their hands on the fortune.
