Eddie Vedder Debuts New Cover To Kick Off 2023

Eddie Vedder brought in the new year by covering a very fan favorite song. Eddie has always been known to not only write amazing work, but to do a great job covering anyone else’s work as well.

With this cover, it was Charlie Chaplin’s famous song, ‘Smile,’ that brought a smile to everyone’s face. The song was posted on the Pearl Jam Online Instagram, which you can see below.

As previously reported, tt looks as though Pearl Jam fans might have a bit of a wait on their hands.

While the band has recruited producer Andrew Watt to produce their next album and has plenty of new material, guitarist Stone Gossard told Riff TV, “I bet it’s gonna be 2024 before the record comes out, is my guess.”

Watt, who has worked with everyone from Ozzy Osborne to Justin Bieber, produced frontman Eddie Vedder’s recent solo album, “Earthling.”

Stone Gossard spoke openly about this as he said: “We’ve got demos for days. Everybody writes in the band, so now it’s really just trying to figure out what’s something different for us and what’s something exciting…and we’re working on that. I think we’ve got a good start on another record that will be hopefully good.”
